Parts lookup

Control valve parts lookup

Choose the valve on top of your softener to see every part we cover whose maker or listing names it.

The model is printed on the valve's cover or the label under it, for example 5600SXT or WS1.

How the lookup works

Softenry mathA part is listed under a valve only when its maker or listing names that valve family or one of its model numbers. Softeners and filters built on the same valve are listed below the parts.
Check before orderingValve families have several generations and sizes (a Fleck 5600 timer and a 5600SXT meter take different boards and meters; a Clack WS1 and WS1.25 take different pistons). Match the exact model and the part number in your valve's service manual before ordering.

Questions

How do I tell which Fleck valve I have?
Lift the cover: the model is on a label on the valve body or the timer. A digital face with buttons is usually an SXT; a dial timer is a 5600 or 2510 mechanical. Metered valves have a meter cable running into the outlet.
Are Fleck 5600 and 5600SXT parts the same?
The valve body and most internal parts (seals, spacers, piston, brine valve) are shared; the timer, board and meter differ. Check the service manual for your timer.
Rebuild the valve or replace the head?
A seal and spacer kit and piston fix most leaks and bypassing for a fraction of a new head. A failed board or motor on an older valve can cost close to a complete head.
