What it does for your water
The AFWFilters IRON PRO Fleck 5600SXT Iron Filter is a media iron filter on a Fleck 5600SXT valve.
Media filters oxidize and trap iron on the media bed. Most media have pH and dissolved-oxygen limits; check them against your water test.
A well-water test (iron, manganese, pH, hydrogen sulfide) tells you whether it fits; install it upstream of any softener.
