What it does for your water
The AFWFilters Fleck 5600SXT 48,000-Grain Water Softener and Filter System is a softener and filter combo rated at 48,000 grains on a Fleck 5600sxt control valve. Its listing gives a service flow of 12 GPM.
Run at an efficient salt setting, its rating gives about 36,000 grains per regeneration rather than the full rating: enough for up to 4 people on 15 grains-per-gallon water regenerating weekly, or 2 on 25 grains per gallon. Size it to your own water.
A filter stage rides along with the softener here; the listing says what it reduces, and its cartridge or media has its own replacement schedule.
The Fleck 5600sxt head is one of the most widely serviced valves; seal kits, pistons, boards and meters that name it are in the valve parts lookup.
The listing also gives power Electric; model 5600SXT 48,000-Grain; material Plastic; valve Fleck 5600sxt; flow 12 GPM.
The listing gives dimensions of 10 x 10 x 54 inches, a shipping weight of 120 lb and water softener and carbon filter in the box.
