What it does for your water
The H&G lifestyles WFRV05 Iron Filter is a media iron filter.
Media filters oxidize and trap iron on the media bed. Most media have pH and dissolved-oxygen limits; check them against your water test.
Match its limits to a water test: iron, manganese, pH and sulfur. It belongs ahead of a softener so iron never reaches the resin.
Other listed details: connections 3/4" ght; capacity stated as 50000 gallons; model WFRV05.
